Shadowrun, Game Day, Conventions, Pathfinder and more!

Hello My Friends!

Wow what a couple of weeks its been, whew time to take a breath and relate some of it.

Home Game:

Started Book 2 of the Carrion Crown AP Trial of the Beast. Our noble party divided up and sent half of the group ahead to scout (actually had a couple of people absent) and ran into a few minor problems in their travels along the road to Liepstadt, some assassin vine, and a wyvern! The battle with the wyvern was quite pitched and well fought, the grappling monk Quick Like a Tree getting the upper hand and forcing the wyvern to submit after the additional damage done by Olin the Magus and Avik the Wizard/Cleric. Shortly there after they met up with the Crooked Kin, a traveling freak show hurrying to make to the trial when one of the members of their troupe went missing. The adventurers immediately without hesitation began tracking the missing pinhead (she was a freak) into the swamp when they were ambushed by the same phase spider that killed the missing pinhead. In a noble effort Avik fell in battle to save the group by enabling Olin to land a killing blow.

We chose to break at this point to continue with more of the party and to mourn the one player's second death in two sessions.

Shadowrun:

I am the new Shadowrun Field Agent for Shadowrun Missions Organized play! SO Vegas look out for more missions and demos to be played around town!.

Conventions:

Neoncon is just around the corner with some exciting stuff happening. First of all I have to give a shout out to JP who will be attending, will discuss the NeoExodus Campaign Setting for Pathfinder RPG. There is also a New World of Darkness game that stretches through out the convention. In addition to the big 2 Organized Play Games (Pathfinder Society and Living Forgotten Realms) I will be running several slots of Shadowrun Missions which I believe is making its Neoncon debut as well.

Las Vegas Game Day:

I began the SRM (Shadowrun Missions) with SRM 04-00 Back in Business which is the beginning of the current season taking place in Seattle. I ended up with a full table of 7 players and had been told by 4 others via twitter and email that they would attend the next one. I think I can chalk this up as a success. There was one death and most unfortunate it was the same player from my home that died. This made it 3 sessions of gaming with 3 deaths.

Chris it's not personal! Don't take it to hard!

Everyone seemed to really enjoy it as much as I did! So next month I put up another signature list for the 2nd Mission in SRM 04-01 Hiding in the Dark.

I hope to see everyone at the convention and at Game Day!
